rawneeOK, so I was fully prepared to be bored and hate this, because anyone who knows me knows of my obsession with vampires and vampire stories. I didn't hate it, I loved it. Paul was disgusted with the amount of emotion in it (though in my experience vampirism isn't all about hunting people down and eating them. Vampires have feelings too). I then pointed out that he hadn't been tied to his chair and could have left at any minute. I think the problem is, he'd only known it was a film about vampires and didn't realise the target audience of the film or the book. Anyway, it's now on my wishlist and I might even treat myself to a book or two!
