This country is in the midst of a recession.  People are losing their jobs on a daily basis and long established businesses are having to close.

He's giving £2 million 'towards fighting malaria'.  Sorry but I wasn't aware we had a malaria epidemic in the UK and where's this £2m appeared from???  I'm a fair believer in charity beginning at home and this occasion is no exception!  Get a hold on reality GB and look after the people you're supposed to be looking after!!!

Well he helped cause the recession - maybe this is the usual diversionary tactics.

Or maybe he's being foresighted for a change and donating it knowing we will have malaria in a year or two due to global warming.

This is what I have said. Like in the US kids and animals are starving, yet they send all sorts of money to Africa and stuff? I am all for helping, but help your own and yourself before you help others. First rule of... SURVIVAL. dude.
