My daughter works on the same site as me and often makes bookings with our office.  She rang and spoke to one of my colleagues the other day and her first words were, "Hi, it's Gemma, Andrea's daughter".  It amused me a) because I've always been known as 'Andrea, Gemma's mum' and b) she felt the need to introduce herself as such instead of just saying, "Hi, it's Gemma".

Why do we have to have labels and pigeon holes for each other?  Much as I try my best not to do it, I can't help but do it!  Imagine my amusement when I saw this Blogthing quiz.  I always thought that if I was a teenager, I'd be emo but seems I'm not angsty enough.
