How important is a user name?

I have used various user names on different forums though I generally stick to one.  However, the one I wanted here wasn't available and I couldn't think of anything else, so I just used my name.

Is your user name one you've used all over the internet or do you have different ones depending on the forum/site you're using?

I'm a same name all over the place kinda girl and have been for many years... it fits and i dunno, it's just associated with me, i guess *shrugs* Plus, I like it LOL

It's a good one though...it's original. My other name isn't very original at all and I don't like adding numbers on the end of it lol. I know, I'm just odd!

I have it grouped. So all my LJ stuff is FrankThePirate and so on, all my general stuff is Saph. SaphirePhoenix was my first login for a lot of things so it sticks with me, though the LJ had to be closed.

Most places it's stuntpilot ... that was taken here on LJ. Came up with it many years ago and it's kinda stuck.
