Well, I'm not sure whether to cry or scream *UPDATED*

Our solicitor has been in touch with us to let us know that Direct Line have offered us the grand total of £13000, less interim payments which leaves us £1500...not even enough to cover our council tax let alone the money we had to borrowfor the wedding.

I've spoken to another solicitor yesterdayn who told me to drop off all the paperwork for him to have a look at, which I did this morning.  Not heard anything yet, but as there was 3 years worth of letters, I don't think that's unreasonable.

We can't change the solicitor as our insurance gives us legal cover BUT we have to use the solicitor they give us.

Certainly not going to let this go. £13000 is a bloody joke!
