Wow, what a weird day.

Woke up at 6, had to let dogs out, went back to bed, got up at 8, let the dogs out, got up at 10 (after very very strange dream about people I haven't seen for years) and took dogs for a walk.  It started as a nice sunny day but gradually got greyer.

Policeman came round at 11, went to see guy who had knocked Paul's bike over but was told by his neighbours that he had gone on holiday for a week.  Can you believe, he lives TWO streets away!  So, policeman suggested we take it up with our insurance company to sort it with his and if there's a problem, to get back to him and the driver will be charged with leaving the scene of an accident AND driving without due care and attention! 

I also painted my nails deep, very dark purple that looks almost black but it didn't look right so I took it off and painted them black...I'm so hopeless with nail varnish, I got more of it on my fingers but what the hell.  So, black hair, black nails, black clothes, hell yeah!  I don't care!  It's me, it's who I am, take it or leave it, I really don't care!

Started reading The Host last night but couldn't really get into it.  I guess I was expecting more Twilight but this couldn't be further from the truth so I satisifed myself with watching it again whilst doing the ironing.  Have also ordered a customised iPod skin (no prizes for guessing) and a Cullen crest hoodie.  Also have my eye on a baseball shirt next weekend when I get some more money.  I'm so immature, but guess what? I don't freaking care.  I'm middle-aged, not dead!

Oh yeah, I've ordered a new mouse from play.com as well cos mine has died.  No, it's not a Twilight one, I couldn't find any...

So, finally finished my ironing after 4 hours and am going to have a nice shower and then bugger off to bed for an early night with Twilight!

You are quite right. It was funny walking through town today. I had a sleeveless top on and it's a pretty snobby area where we live. Lots of people with lots of money...and then there's us lol. Anyway, I could see people staring at my tattoos and giving me 'the look'. I just turned to Paul and said, "Oh look at me. I must have my second head on today".

I'm too old to worry about what people think about me now and, after all, life ain't a popularity contest, is it?

I'll keep trying The Host as I've been told it gets better...

I have now come to the realisation that if people don't like me the way I am they aren't worth it and can just bugger off.

I'm continuing with the host but it will never be as good as Twilight lol

ROFL, cool! I love nail polish but I'm so clumsy! My nails break a lot as well so I don't get to wear it much.
