This article certainly struck a nerve with me.  This time last year I was incapacitated for 2 weeks with both migraine and cluster headaches.   I'd suffered headaches for more than 20 years and started getting migraines around the same time.  My birth control pill was changed to try and stop them, which it did for a long time.  I had regular sight checks so knew it was nothing to do with that.  Whenever I went to the doctor about it, it was either too much sleep, not enough sleep;  too many pillows, not enough pillows;  too many paracetamols, not enough paracetamols;  I was dehydrated, 'go home a lick a teaspoon of salt off the palm of your hand' just made me thirsty.  Regular paracetamols stopped helping and I had to take extra strength ones with caffeine in them.  Imagine my total surprise and relief last year when I was prescribed Amitriptylene.  I still get headaches but I can now usually shake thema after 2 paracetamols.  A recent migraine was stopped dead in it's tracks.  I just wish I'd been prescribed this years ago.

I can't imagine the frustration and the pain Mike Pollock is continuing to suffer if nothing is working for him though.  Head pain is worse than any other pain you can describe as you can't get away from it.  As it says in the atricle, it's worse than childbirth!

'World of Warcraft' more addictive than cocaine?  Surely the boy's parents should shoulder some of the responsibility rather going on a crusade to 'warn other parents of the dangers'?

Time and again we hear of the so-called dangers of too much time spent online playing these games and how the games are surely to blame for 'X going out and beating someone over the head with a big stick' and so on and so forth.  I do not what I'm talking about because my son is an online gamer.  He is neither withdrawn, nor does he lack social skills.  He can spend all night playing games BUT he has the common sense to come and get something to eat when he's hungry and take a break now and then.  Even if he didn't, would I not be shirking my responsibilities as a parent if I just left him to it?  If the boy's parents couldn't be arsed to go and see if he was alright, I don't see why they should blame a game for their failings as parents.

(Is it bad of me to admit that one of my favourite South Park episodes is the World of Warcraft one)?

And finally...

Morph flashmob gathered in London today.  Wish I'd been there to see it!
