I turned 40 in 2002 and started noticing adverts for toothpaste for 'over 40's'!  Now I'm bombarded with adverts for pants to stop me p*xxing myself when I'm out riding camels or having a laugh on the 'phone at home and apparently I'm also at danger of 'menopausal skin'.  I thought life was supposed to begin at 40???

PMSL, yup! 47 in September...that's past middle age *sobs*. My husband's 15 years younger though so everyone assumes I'm the same age as him *sniggers*

oh baby, I have it the other way. He's 14 years older then me, hitting 40 soon, so everyone assumes I am in my mid 30s -weeps- lol swap you?

Oh dear...that's definitely not good. I don't know why though cos you don't look it! Yeah, sure, you can have mine but be warned, he can't work so he just sits on his Xbox all day talking to his imaginary friends lol

can't or won't? ;) Wont be much different to mine. I don't think I've talked to him in ages, unless he starts rabbiting on about the fucking Pirate Bay trial. I DO NOT CARE ABOUT IT. -sighs- anyway, at least he is talking to me...? -shrugs-

LOL can't. He got knocked off his bike in 2006, 7 weeks before our wedding and has been left disabled. The break in his foot healed fine but he now has Regional Chronic Pain Syndrome.

Sometimes it's better when they don't talk to you, isn't it? lol
