Some perspective please people.

rawneeCall me heartless (even though I'm not) but why has such a big fuss been made over Jade Goody's funeral? Yes it's a very sad loss and not nice for those involved but why the carry on? Yes, she wanted to make lots of money for her boys and all credit to her for that but I can't help feel for all the thousand of people who die every year and leave their families. There were one or two high profile deaths the same week (not to mention a personal friend of mine who died the same day from cancer) and nothing has drawn this much attention. I also find it in very bad taste that the Government are now considering lowering the age for smear tests when they should have done this years ago.
For goodness sake people. If you can't differentiate between fact and fiction, you shouldn't be allowed to operate the remote control.
As much as I love horses, I hate horse racing. I know that might make me a killjoy to a lot of people and I know that people will counter my thoughts with 'if the horse didn't want to do it, it wouldn't' but articles like this one just reinforce my feelings. Yes, it could have happened at any time but just maybe, if he'd been out hacking and not racing, it wouldn't have happened.
And so it continues. Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand should pay the fine? Of course they should. Why should I pay it? I haven't done anything wrong, I don't like either of them and I'm already funding them by paying my licence fee.
One of the things that stood out most about our wedding was the fact that the vicar was so easy going and pleasant. There was actually a ripple of laughter after the "If anyone knows of any just cause..." part of the ceremony and a round of applause after we were married. Everyone commented on how great a service it was and that everyone enjoyed it! I can't ever see the vicar changing and this is one of the reasons the White Church is so popular in this area. So, coming aross this article where priests aren't even going to say "Good morning" to their congregation is, to me, quite sad. In these days when people are going through such bad times, they don't need fire and brimstone as well. Come on people, lighten up. I'm sure JS would like to see you having a good time at church! (Playmobil take note)!
And finally...be careful who you are emailing and what you are talking to them about. I can't say anymore because this entry is probably being read by MI5 who are keeping an eye on my mundane life!
