I'm knackered

What a bloody day yesterday was! It seemed really hectic but not at the same time. It was weird. Most of the day passed without incident though until 4pm. One of our drivers let us down and we had a passenger needing to get to the other end of the country and no way of getting her there. (She'd missed the shuttle from site). Anyway, long story short, the boss ended up taking her and didn't get home till the early hours of this morning.
I walked the dogs when I got home and took Robbie up to A&E to get his foot looked at. It was soul destroying. We sat there for 4 hours told be told it was soft tissue damage and to take pain killers. There were no broken bones. It's a relief but boy, am I knackered now. We didn't get home till midnight and poor son missed out on KFC as it was closed by the time we left the hospital.
Needless to say, I've been so tired at work today not helped by the fact that it's been fairly quiet in the run up to half term. Good news now though is that I'm off for just over a week.
Seems to me they are going to be burgled regardless of Google sending their cameras. Surely the mere fact that they live in an affluent area to start with means there is more chance of them being burgled. No-one's going to break into a house that looks like it's got nothing worth taking...are they? Seems to me more likely they have something to hide! *sniggers*
Okay, so glueing your eye shut isn't a very nice thing to happen but then again, it's not a very bright thing to do either.
Virgin Active to launch Animal Active
Heart complaints, diabetes and arthritis are just some of the health problems associated with pets carrying excess weight.
Trials have already taken place at the Virgin Active club in Acton with gym members encouraged to bring their pets for a work out.

“I have to admit to feeding my pet Basset Hound too many treats and not really exercising him enough. Now that there is a special exercise environment just for animals nearby, I’m determined to get him in shape.
The health club, which is being called Animal Active, is scheduled to open its doors later this year and will be a haven for animals in need of exercise or lifestyle management. Trained exercise coordinators will run a series of group exercise classes which will include Pooch Paunch Buster, Puuuroebics, Wag Attack, Canine Crunch and Pawlates. There will also be a weigh-in area for all pet owners to come and check the weight of their pet. A full time vet and pet nutritionist will also be on hand to answer any health and diet queries.
Virgin Active today revealed five tips to help you check your pet’s obesity rating:
1. Check with your vet what your pet’s weight should be
2. If your animal won’t stay on the scales, weigh yourself holding your pet and then deduct your own weight
3. If you can’t feel your pet’s ribs then it is likely to be overweight
4. A reluctance to exercise and breathlessness are signs that your pet may be too fat
5. Look at your dog from above. You should be able to see some indentation behind the rib cage, depicting an hourglass shape, if you can’t your pet is overweight
