Well, I've been to Tesco today and thought about

frankthepirate while I was there. She would have been impressed with Paul. He was sniggering at the chav (clearly distinguished by her wearing 2 or 3 cheap gold rings on every finger and the questionable dress code). This one in particular caught his attention because she took up the whole aisle...and I'm not talking positioning, I'm talking size. (Yes, I am being sizeist because it's my blog and I can say what I want. Yes, I'm overweight as well but I don't have a magic mirror that makes me look like Twiggy). The first words out of her mouth? "Shall we get a cake for later"?

So, shopping's done and put away, dishwasher's full and turned on, all to do now is sort out the washing and put the washing machine on; hoover and dust and get my shit together to do some ironing. I can't leave it all till tomorrow because a) it's Mother's Day and I shouldn't be doing anything and b) I've got to go into town tomorrow to have a contact lens check.
