There are, as we all know, people on this earth who truly think that anything and everything revolves around them. Two examples have arisen during the past few weeks. Both incidences have been mentioned on my past blogs.

For example. There was the time some of us were chatting about a TV programme called Embarrassing Illnesses and how we could never go on it, blah blah blah. It turns out that someone we were all acquainted with had actually been filmed for it and assumed that we were talking about her? Talk about up your own arse (pun intended...she went on there to talk about her piles or something). Anyway, a message was posted on 'our' forum basically telling her to wind her neck in and she was in no position to tell us what we could and couldn't watch on TV. She still doesn't get it and still insists we were talking about her. Get over yourself. We haven't talked about you in over 12 months...know why? You're duller than ditch water!

Second time was on a forum for 'older women'. Hmmmm, older but not very bright. Sadly, it happened again over something else but same person took it upon themselves to assume we were talking about her...again. Dear God. I appreciate people want to have a laugh and talk about something they have in common but if you were a man you would be called a paedophile at worst and a stalker at best. Give it a rest, grow up and realise that he's never going to take you seriously.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

Weird, very weird, but not unexplainable.

Friday night was in a play...most strange as it was at my old school but with lots of big names.  I had no script, i couldn't recall my lines but as soon as I got on the stage I knew what they were!  After the play, a group of us went 'somewhere'.  I have no idea where it was but the doorway was very small and I was the only one who couldn't get through it because I was too fat!

Last night was at my old school again.   (I have no idea why school is suddenly so important all of a sudden).  Anyway, this time it was my son and his friends who were at school.  I picked him up and from there on it got really muddled.  We were going somewhere in a bus...yes, I was driving it!  The brakes were really dodgy so I had to drive very carefully, but this was made worse by the fact that my legs didn't work at all once they were in the vehicle.  (This is a recurring theme in dreams I have).

I wouldn't say they greak me out, just that they're really, really weird and I don't know where they're coming from or where they're going.  I guess I need to lose some weight and get a new car?!

Is there anything in your family that has been passed down from generation to generation, or from family member to family member? What is it? And who do you plan to pass it on to?

Up to now there hasn't been anything really but my grandmother gave me her mother's wedding ring a few years ago and that will go to my daughter and everntually, hopefully, to her daughter.  My family isn't particularly sentimental about stuff like this but I'd like to think that my grandmother and I have started a tradition.
