Have you ever tried to change yourself for someone you were in a relationship with (or wanted to be in a relationship with)? Did it work?

In a manner of speaking, yes.  We both had an interest in music and bikes and he introduced me to some of his hobbies that I would bever have even dreamed of taking part in at one time.  I didn't change my look or the way I dress nor did he, but we did change each other in small ways that were probably insignificant to others but meant a lot to each other.

Yes it worked.  We married in 2006!

Why doesn't this surprise me? When you're a child, you don't need to know how much a loaf of bread is...that's something your parents take care of. When I was a child, I didn't know how much a loaf of bread is, but I knew how much riding lessons were and how much it cost for a pair of riding boots / jodhpurs / riding hat.

On average they estimated the cost of an iPod Nano was £105 - only £5 off its usual retail sale.

But they thought the average cost of bread was £4.31, with one respondent saying they thought it was £200 and another said a penny. Bread usually costs between 80p and £1.50.

Your thoughts please boys and girls? )
