rawnee | Bank accounts

After years and years of feeling inferior because I don't have a bank account with a cheque book, I bit the bullet last week and applied to another bank for an account. I was wary of applying online as my current bank has a tendency not to receive anything sent in the post and any applications made on the internet are ignored. However, undaunted, I didn't think I had anything to lose and applied. Lo and behold, less than a week later, my application was acknowledged and accepted. Today I have received my cheque book and PIN number and am just awaiting my card then it's all systems go to change over completely. I can't wait. I hate my current bank with a passion and will look forward to paying the compensation cheque into a bank who was prepared to give us the account we wanted!

Now off to change all the DD/SO payments over!
