Our friends don't always know us as well as they think, particularly when it comes to likes and dislikes. Which popular book, movie, band, food, TV show, etc. would your friends be surprised to hear that you don't like?

Quite bizarre that this has come up now and my friends and I have been doing the FB 'How well do you know...'?  quizzes

1.  Book - Wicked (I started it but couldn't get into it at all.  Having said that, I let someone borrow it and she's kept it).

2.   Film - Top Gun (Can't stand Tom Cruise)

3.  Band - Beatles (they weren't that great)!

4.  Food - cheese

5.  TV Show - Big Brother (utter tripe)

Some friends and I were discussing a TV programme on a forum I go on.  It was just a general chat in the way you talk about programmes you like / hate /  wouldn't be seen dead know what I mean.  I was quite p*ssed off to find that our comments had been taken as a personal attack on someone who, apparently, was appearing on the programme.  Seems now that, despite the fact that a certain person has allowed themselves to be filmed on TV, our forum group has to research our viewing choices before watching a programme to determine whether or not there is someone we know on that programme.

Just how arrogant and up their own arse can someone get?  I've heard of paranoia but this is ridiculous.  Long story short, there were quite a few of us on a wedding planning forum up to a year ago.  Something happened and we all fell out.  Since then, it's been a case of 'them and us' with a lot of lies being spread and no way of defending our actions.  However, this is all in the past and nothing has been thought of it for well over 6 months and now this.  The girl in question 'just happened' to be looking on our forum for the first time in a year apparently.  Coincidence?  I think not.  Someone is clearly up to mischief and not prepared to own up to it.  It's happened before with people not checking who they are sending emails to before having a pop at someone and general two-faced posting.

So, if you or one of your minions is reading this, please toddle off and report back that we are NOT responsible for all the things that are going wrong or have gone wrong in your little clique.  You need to look closer to home.

Oh, and just for the record, I'll be watching Supernatural and Fringe tonight if that's OK with you?

Now we're sitting here, having polished off some fresh pasta and waiting for something half interesting to come on TV.
